Great service here, and a good range of products. We were greeted at the door by the wonderfully helpful and friendly Sharon. She was able to quickly look up the product we were looking for and advised it was in stock, but not on display. A few taps on her key pad and the sale was complete! Peter carried the item to our car and we were all done in about 10 mins. Everytime we have been here, we have left as happy customers.

Bought a fridge. Paid premium delivery for next day. Next day arrives and the courier sends text cancelling delivery. Called store twice to find out what was happening and why it was cancelled, ended up having to drive to store to get an answer. Also ended up losing and entire fridge and freezer of food due to cancelled delivery. Delivery rescheduled for next day. I was offered a refund of the delivery fee and then a second offer of $100 to cover the doilies food. After refusing both ridiculous offers and pushing for an escalation and explaining to the store manager their own terms and conditions and consumer law the store manager agreed to submit a reimbursement request if I provided photos and a receipt for replacement of everything that had to be thrown away. This will take some time and I had to cover over $500 upfront first. On second delivery day called store twice about the delivery time and they said they would call me back but didn’t. Text message says delivery between 1:50pm - 4:50pm. It’s now 5:33pm and the driver tracker map says there is still 7 deliveries ahead of mine. I called the store before 5pm and was put on hold when answered. After 30 minutes on hold and no one picking up to take my call I hung up. Worst customer service and extremely poor communication. Let’s hope it arrives today.

I ordered a smeg kettle to replace the leaking one I bought from this same store as warranty ran out, they ring me to come pick it up and hand me a toaster ! Seriously how did they get it wrong when I explained the first one leaked but I have to replace it with same brand (smeg) . They don’t care you do extra trips in scorching heat to pick up the wrong thing they ordered. Very slack service !!

Started good - ended badly. Usual for big entities like this… So! - another wasted day - takes the $25 cheaper price away - Big Time! “We will deliver between 1240 and 1630”. OK. Get txt at 1210 - ( me on way to address) “You’re not at home” delivery failed (someone will be in contact with you…) taken afternoon off work - there at 1220 - 20 mins b4 advised delivery time - note - also that it could be delivered at 1630!!!!!!!!!! (Me waiting 4 hrs!) No way to contact delivery team who could not have been more than 10 minutes away - now no idea when delivery will be effected….? Nothing from GG’s - What a shambles! What makes Good Guys so reprehensible - house (new) was open - other contractors there - doors open - people there - could have delivered! Won’t EVER USE AGAIN! Thought HN bad - this lot worse. Now - (Good Guys?) another day off work? Nice ph call in morning re new delivery date? Last business from us ever. Don’t worry - lots of new gullibles out there!!!! Eventually - you will have pissed everyone off - what then?

The only Goodguys store we go to nowadays. We're closer to another store but the extra 10 min drive is not much compared to the time wasted waiting to be served in another local TGG store where the staff are grumpy all the time. Most staff ive come across @ the Capalaba store are generally friendly and upbeat about helping customers. I haven't seen any customer not being attended to. Recent purchase was a fridge. Sue was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent communication skills and was on point with her customer service.

Had a great experience at Good Guys Capalaba and was fortunate to be served by Jordan P. I bought a fridge, microwave and kettle and only came in with dimensions for the space requirements in my kitchen. Jordan’s knowledge on the range of products made life so much easier and gave me options and price points to choose from. Really grateful for Jordan P’s help. Thank Good Guys Capalaba.
